Cathy Teegarden has a true depth of knowledge in real estate. Her diversified residential and commercial background is an asset in all transactions. A native to Southern California, Cathy graduated from Monrovia High School and went on to study accounting at San Diego State University.  She moved back to Monrovia in 1988 and immediately started her real estate career.  In 2018 Cathy and her husband made the move to Orange County and currently live in San Clemente.

Cathy has been in real estate for over 30 years. She first started as the financial manager of a successful real estate company and moved into residential sales in 1989. By 1992 she was winning sales awards with a large real estate franchise. 

In 1997 Cathy had an opportunity to work for a large commercial developer in Pasadena. During her eleven years with the company she handled all phases of residential and commercial development from entitlements, tenant relocation, construction and property management. In 2009 she became a broker and took over the helm of Distinctive Properties, a boutique real estate company.

Family is very important to Cathy and she is proud to say she has been married since 1991 with two lovely children, Ryan and Sarah.  Her husband, Jim, is a VP of construction for a large developer.  Real estate and home improvement is a true passion.  In her spare time Cathy enjoys time with family and friends;  cooking and traveling.
